We have a small dedicated sensory room which was initially created for our children with Special Educational Needs. It is however available for all children to access. We have lots of different sensory toys in this room including an infinity mirror, light up colour changing bubble tube, mood pebble and water well. There are balls, cubes, cushions and fabrics of all different textures and materials to explore. We like to turn down the lights and play in here with music from Shabang playing. Shabang is a local stay and play group for children with additional needs. They are based in Slaithwaite and pre COVID we visited Shabang weekly with our children who have 1:1 support workers.
